American Heart Association instuctor for nearly 30 years I understand what causes heart problems.
As a certified hypnotist and fitness
trainer my specialty is motivating and helping people replace bad habits with good ones.
From day one my top priority is to clearly demonstate exactly how you can "do-it-yourself," and ultimately
to make my services obsolete in the shortest time possible (usually just 3-4 weeks).
The next most important goal is to
make the entire process as enjoyable as possible
so you want to keep at it. My motto is: "make it fun and make it stick!"
So how do we get started?
First, we set up an appointment and meet. During this first consultation which takes about 90
minutes, I take a detailed life style, personal habits, and family medical history. Next, I give a very basic health exam,
including pulse and blood pressure checks. And finally, after researching multiple databases concerning any conditions you
may have and then consuIting my personal 200 book medical library, I put together a customized program specially tailored
to your (and your doctor's) specific goals and requirements.
Together as a team we employ a powerful combination of completely natural approaches. For the duration of the
program I promise to make myself available to you for support and walk with you in person twice a week. You,
in turn promise to show up and walk too. Together we will use a number of proven techniques including self-hypnosis, fitness
training, and more. All work is begun at an easy pace, with an eye toward positive habit formation. We then gradually start
to increase the intensity appropriate for your age, health status, and pre-approved by your doctor. For more advanced
clients one on one martial arts instruction is also an option.
I offer very
flexible time arrangements and special reduced group and corporate rates.
